Privacy Policy

Expungement Professionals, a record clearing service offered by The Law Offices of Debra J. Rice, APC, is in conformance with the California Information Practices Act (IPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act.  Other than as required by law, your personally identifiable information is not disclosed without your consent.  The information you submit to Expungement Professionals is also protected by the Attorney-Client Privilege.

1.  SECURITY.  We take your privacy and identity very seriously and take precautions to ensure a safe, secure, and confidential transaction.  We use VeriSign to encrypt and transmit your personal data, such as credit, savings, and checking information.  Secure sites can be confirmed by looking to see that “https” is showing in your browser bar.  Your information is encrypted, and when necessary, only partially available to perform specific jobs, such as billing.  The offline/server information is encrypted and stored in a safe and secure environment.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE.  Categories of personally identifiable information collected by Expungement Professionals, including your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and criminal record are used solely for the purposes of expunging or sealing your record.  Such information is not sold or distributed to any third parties.  Fields marked with an “*” are required in order for us to obtain information needed to further the interest of your case.

In order to keep you informed of the progress of your case we may use personal information collected from our website for the purpose of future communication back to online enrollees. Such email notification will be conducted in conformance with policies implementing anti-spam protection.

Additionally, our Web server collects, at least temporarily, the following information: Internet Protocol (IP) address of computer being used, referring Web page, browser used, date, and time. This information is collected to monitor your navigation of our Web pages.  This information is used to improve Web presentation and utilization.  We also may use IP address information for troubleshooting purposes. Expungement Professionals uses cookies to keep track of online purchasing transactions. Personally identifiable information is not stored within cookies.

3. UPDATING PERSONAL INFROMATION.  You may opt out of our online services at any time.  Questions regarding your options to review, modify or delete previously provided personal information should be directed to info@expungementprofessionals.com or U.S. mail addressed to 3800 Orange St., Suite 220, Riverside, CA 92501.

4. POLICY CHANGES.  This privacy policy has been approved by The Law Offices of Debra J. Rice, APC.  Any revisions to this privacy policy will be posted at this URL.

5.  LINKS TO OTHER SITES.  You may encounter links to other websites of organizations not directly affiliated with Expungement Professionals. Please be aware that Expungement Professionals is not responsible for the information practices of external organizations. We recommend you review the privacy statements of each external website that collects personal information.
